Banned Books Week 2018

ALA, the American Library Association of Libraries,  “celebrates” Banned Books Week this week.  The website states  “it brings together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular.” Check out the lists of the top ten banned books over the years – you might be surprised.
